Making your marketing activities easier to manage

Since every business needs to market itself to attract new business and new customers it makes sense to work out what you are going to do and when you are going to do it.

At Create Design Studio we use a calendar to organise what marketing activities we will complete each month and on what topics we will concentrate. This means that the different marketing pieces we produce are all scheduled and their content planned in advance, we cover a different subject each time so it doesn’t get boring to read or write.

We concentrate on a few specific marketing pieces: an email newsletter every 3 months, our company magazine ‘The Bulletin’ with an issue every 3 months, DL sized leaflets that can be added to invoices and letters and we update this blog weekly. We count our networking club commitments every month as part of our marketing. When added to our calendar it shows that every week and every month we do something to keep our customers aware of our services.

Try calendarising the next 6 months of your marketing activities for yourself, we think it takes the guesswork out of marketing activities, saving you time and effort in the long run.
