We are used to companies having branding that gives them a distinct personality these days. It is increasingly used to help companies to stand out from their competitors and help define what they offer to their customers in more personal ways. Your brand might be fun and young with bright colours and friendly typefaces or it could be classy and grown-up using a sophisticated colour palette and classic typeface.
Think about the personality your company has, if you find it easy to define then, great, write all your traits on a sheet of paper and try to fit colours, typefaces and photographs together that resonate with this description to define your brand.
If you are finding it more tricky to define your brand this is a golden opportunity to decide what kind of personality you want for your organisation. Try to find something that is a natural fit for you and the others you work with and the kind of activity you do because branding should be a natural fit. There may not be a natural fit in your branding as sophisticated and understated if you are actually a business supplying 4×4 car spares.
So when you next hand over your business card at a networking event take a moment to think about the message that your logo and branding give to the person you are talking to. If that message isn’t making you and your organisation stand out, if it doesn’t say anything about your personality and help you to stand out, perhaps it should be changed so it can do those things.
Your aim should be to create a memorable brand for your business to help others remember you and your company after you have met them.
Create Design Studio have direct experience of rebranding and we can help you to work out the personality you want to get across in yours. Call us for a free chat about any branding youmight want to arrange on 01962 737989.
